What is this?

Green Lake Circle is a non-commercial neighborhood project. No ads, no algorithm, no venture capital. Just neighbors talking to each other.

Behavior

Our Community Guidelines cover how we treat each other. By using the platform, you agree to follow them. Don't do anything illegal, dangerous, or that you wouldn't want an attorney to read aloud in a court of law.

Your content

You own what you write. By posting, you give the community a license to display it on the site and in email notifications. That's it. We're not training AI on your parking complaints or selling your hot takes about leaf blowers to data brokers.

You can delete your posts and your account at any time. Deleted posts are attributed to "[deleted]" so existing conversations still make sense.

Moderation

Volunteer moderators can remove posts, threads, or accounts that violate the guidelines or these terms. If you see something that needs attention, use the flag button.

Privacy

Your email is used for login and notifications. We don't share it, sell it, or track you across the internet. Cookies are used only for keeping you logged in.

Everything you post can be seen by every member. This is not a private messaging platform. If law enforcement requests data, we will comply.

Disclaimer

This platform is provided as-is by volunteers. We make no guarantees about uptime, reliability, or the quality of anyone's opinions about street parking. We are not responsible for content posted by users.

Changes

We may update these terms. If we do, we'll post about it. Continued use means you accept the current terms.
